Job Description: Cashier / Retail Sales Associate

Harvey’s Farm | Westborough, MA

Harvey's Farm is a sixth generation, family-owned and operated farm, garden center and gift barn located in the heart of Westborough.

Our retail sales associates play an integral role in a positive customer experience. We are seeking an individual who is responsible for ringing sales and accurately processing payments. This candidate would also be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, pricing merchandise and restocking products. Training is included following an interview and job offer.

A Retail Sales Associate Candidate Is Responsible For:

Great Customer Service: Smile and greet customers, assist customers with purchases, direct customer questions to the appropriate team member
A Positive Attitude: Outgoing, friendly and self-motivated individual, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently, a team player
Transaction Processing: Ring up purchases accurately with our point of sale (POS) system, make correct change for cash sales, present sales receipt to customer at completion of transaction
Keeping Areas Clean & Tidy: Keep retail areas clean, organized and welcoming for customers. Expected to complete general maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning where appropriate/needed.

Commitment:

Must Be Available at least one weekend shift through June 2026 (9:30-5:00)
Flexible daytime/afterschool hours also available
Seasonal Role (Open April – December)
Starting Rate $15.00/hour

Job Description: Farm/Grower Assistant

Harvey’s Farm | Westborough, MA

Harvey's Farm is a sixth generation, family-owned and operated farm, garden center and gift barn located in the heart of Westborough. The farm assistant would work under the direction of farmer/manager, assisting with both the garden center and farm growing operations.

A Farm/Grower Assistant Candidate Is Responsible For:

A Positive Attitude: Outgoing, friendly and self-motivated individual, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently, a team player
Grower Tasks: Filling pots with soil, seeding and transplanting, moving plants, weeding, obtaining seeds and plant labels and filing them back in correct location.
Keeping Areas Clean & Tidy: Keep work areas clean, organized and welcoming for customers. Expected to complete general maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning where appropriate/needed. Gathering/organizing shopping carts in parking lot as needed.
Assisting Customers: Helping load soils and mulches in customer’s vehicles with a helpful demeaner
Weather Preparedness: Be ready to work in a variety of weather/temperature conditions
Ability to Work in a Physical Environment: Candidate must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds, sometimes on a sustained basis
