Our Story

Serving the Region for Six Generations

Operated by father-daughter duo Jim and Emily Harvey, our sixth generation farm covers approximately fifty acres. It is our mission to preserve our land and legacy for future generations.

We grow our crops naturally in deep sandy loam. We grow everything from asparagus to our own "Harrowsmith Select" Gourds. We offer "Produce Samplers" to customers and our produce often finds a new home in the hands of the area's top chefs. Check out the article in Foodies Magazine.

We are a Proven Winners Certified Garden Center and offer our own line of  "Homegrown & Healthy" veggie and herb transplants. Discover all you need for the perfect lawn & garden - from the healthiest plants to local advice from Farmer Harvey. It is our mission to make sure our customers are successful.

Emily's Gift Barn, once housing more than sixty dairy cattle, now features an extensive selection of unique gift, garden and home decor items.

We are proud to have been featured in numerous local and national publications. Emily was nominated as a finalist in Green Profit's Young Retailer of the Year Award and are have been nominated as a top 100 Garden Center by Garden Center Magazine.
